Jeff Dermer, Managing Partner

Jeff Dermer has become a go-to lawyer for Southern California's entrepreneurs. Jeff is known for his ability to quickly grasp complex business models and strategic positioning enabling him to cut to the core of a problem. Jeff uses his multidisciplinary training and a diverse background in law and business to construct optimal and aggressive solutions for his entrepreneurial clients.

Jeff maintains a significant focus in evaluating and structuring partnerships, joint ventures, limited-liability entities and other risk-sharing devices. This transactional practice ranges from the strategy phase through negotiation and implementation. Jeff also frequently litigates and arbitrates corporate governance, partnership, fiduciary disputes, and business divorces.

Jeff has significant litigation experience. Jeff has successfully litigated a number of complex disputes ranging from obtaining complete defense verdicts in areas such as real estate financing, construction, corporate, and environmental law to plaintiff cases involving technology, economic civil rights, and unfair competition.

Jeff has been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer in 2019; and previously as a Super Lawyer "Rising Star." (2013-2014).

Jeff obtained his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2003. He also obtained an M.B.A. from the USC Marshall School of Business; an Award in Accounting from the UCLA Extension; and a B.A.,in History from UCLA. He is admitted in California and Georgia. He is currently board treasurer of Rogue Machine Theatre - Los Angeles' finest small theater. He previously served as a member of the Board of the California Heritage Museum. He currently serves as counsel to Entrepreneur's Organization, Los Angeles Chapter.
